International support imperative for employment generation’

Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi has underlined the need of international cooperation for creating employment opportunities so as to prevent competent Nepali youths from going abroad. Addressing the 44th Industrial Development Board Meeting of the United Nations Industry Development Organization (UNIDO) underway in Vienna of Austria, Minister Joshi said the government was effortful to transform the country through economic fronts by removing barriers seen in the exports of Nepali products and goods. “The Nepal government has expected to receive support and cooperation from international organizations for sustainable development”, Joshi noted. Matters related to the development of international immigration policy and human security unit of the United Nations were discussed on the occasion. Minister Joshi had briefed the existing situation of migration in Nepal and shared the overall major initiatives of the Nepal government, informed Minister Joshi’s press adviser Pradeep Chapagain.
