Leader KC says no to constitution amendment

Rastriya Janamorcha chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has argued that the constitution amendment process should not be initiated, asserting that neither does it favor the country nor its people. Addressing a protest assembly organized by his party at Exhibition Road in the Capital on Sunday, the former Deputy Prime Minister further said that the constitution amendment process would further make the constitution implementation process complex. Recalling that his party has been firmly voicing against federalism in a multilingual country like Nepal, leader KC mentioned that delineation of federal provinces was not possible without the endorsement of province. He also forewarned that the foreign influence was on the prowl in the country and the nationality, sovereignty and national indivisibility were at stake owing to the growing international interference. Leader KC spoke in favor of unity among Nepal and held the view that Mountain, Hill and Terai belt should not be split with each other. RJ Kathmandu Chapter Chair Lal Bahadur Party shared that a campaign protesting constitution amendment would be launched throughout the country.
